This year’s Shakespeare in Clark Park event pairs a performance of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew with an adaptation of The Tamer Tamed — an Elizabethan revenge play written 15 years later by John Fletcher. The result is a comedic performance that brings Shakespeare’s words more in line with our times. The event is free, and registration is not required. However, audience members can reserve a seat in a vaccinated-only section.
