Philly Theater Week More than 60 theater and arts organizations present 70-plus outdoor and virtual performances when Philly Theatre Week returns for 2021. The 11-day event kicks off with a (free!) live virtual event for the opening night celebration, which includes previews from three participating theater companies. Performance tickets are pay-what-you-wish, $15 or $30 per person. This week, catch live performances from Philly Pack (Friday), Val Dun and Jenna Kuerzi (Saturday) and Without a Clue Productions (Saturday and Sunday). Thursday, April 08, 2021 6:00p.m. Penn Women's Center Accepting Recipe Submissions Philadelphia EventsParks on Tap at Fairmount Park Horticulture CenterOnce Philly’s favorite traveling beer garden, Parks on Tap sets down roots this season for longer stays in scenic spots. The pop-up continues its run in Fairmount Park this week with socially distanced fun and a prime viewing location of some of the park’s cherry blossom trees. For most of April, find Parks on Tap outside the Horticulture Center, where live music, comfortable seating and clean restrooms are easy to come by. On special this month: pours from Two Locals Brewing (the city’s first Black-owned brewery) and Japanese-inspired fare to complement the cherry blossom trees, which are expected to reach peak bloom starting Friday.

Terrace on Tap continues Thursdays through Sundays through the summer, based on availability. Reservations are strongly recommended, as walk-up availability is limited, so plan ahead!
