Last Chance! : Love Your Park Scavenger HuntGame on! The Love Your Park scavenger hunt continues through May. Download the GooseChase app to start exploring 13 neighborhood green spaces across Philadelphia, where public art, beautiful landscapes and serene waterfront views create a fun mini-getaway right in the city. Complete all the missions by May 31 to win a $20-level membership to Fairmount Park Conservancy. Where: Various locations including Pleasant Hill Park, Linden Avenue and Delaware Avenue When: Through Monday, May 31, 2021 Roller Rink at Dilworth Park (city hall) Lace up! Center City District hosts the first-ever Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink at Dilworth Park this spring in between sections of the park’s interactive fountain. Guests will find a colorful overhead installation and music that delivers retro vibes at this safe outdoor activity. Also available: a food-and-drink menu at the Air Grille pop-up beer garden. Advance reservations for hour-long skate sessions are required, and lockers are available on-site for storage at an additional cost. Where: Dilworth Park, 1 S. 15th Street Blue Cross River Rink Summer Festival Waterfront roller skating is back! Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest opens for the season on Friday for another summer of skating, Ferris wheel rides, boardwalk games and mini-golf, plus the return of the arcade and a menu full of summer snacks like Funnel cake, lemonade, cotton candy and ice cream. Chickie’s & Pete’s also offers wings, Crabfries, beer and beverages with a QR code ordering system that includes table service. Read up on all the safety guidelines before you go and remember that masks are required and roller skating tickets must be purchased in advance. Where: Blue Cross RiverRink, 101 S. Christopher Columbus Boulevard Kayak Excursions from the Independence Seaport MuseumMay 16 – September 26, 2021 (select dates) Get out on the water and away from the daily grind with a kayak excursion from the Independence Seaport Museum. The first of four different season experiences kicks off on Sunday and is great for those new to kayaking. After a lesson in a protected area of the Penn’s Landing Marina, new kayakers can take an easy, three-mile guided expedition along the Delaware River.
