The talk will address what role formal citizenship plays in excluding non-citizens, particularly racialized foreigners of Asian, Muslim, Black, and Latinx descent. On Saturday, March 26, The Wharton Roadrunners and the Wharton Council will cohost the annual Wharton 5K at 9 a.m. The race starts at Shoemaker Green, located on 33rd Street between the Palestra and Franklin Field, and journeys through the University’s scenic Penn Park.
